The bus station is a key mobility hub where a large number of trips (both departures and arrivals) of local public transport and tourist buses pass through.
Managing this requires highly complex processes that cannot be performed manually, such as optimizing gate usage to streamline and smooth passenger loading/unloading operations, monitoring the bus yard, and tracking actual passages for billing. To accomplish this, Pluservice has developed a suite of applications that enable: the quick and easy entry of all trips to accommodate high variability, gate optimization, management and control of information on various user and driver panels, billing reports, a parking reservation portal for tourist buses, and an app that gathers all the main functions. The system architecture is based on a Web-Based model, allowing installation on different data centers and configuration according to the role of each operator. In the event of a device malfunction, the system ensures minimal performance to prevent operational emergencies.
Arrivals and Departures Management
This module is dedicated to entering scheduled arrivals and departures at the bus station and daily reporting based on actual passages.
Gate Management Tool
Designed to optimize the use of parking spaces and gates to maximize available space, speed up passenger boarding and disembarking operations, enhance user safety, and allow buses to find a spot immediately. The application manages anomalies in real-time, such as delays or cancellations, forwarding the appropriate information to users on electronic panels and driver displays.
Access Control
The system integrates with a possible license plate recognition system at the entrance and allows for the opening or closing of the entry gate.
Presence Sensors
Installing sensors enables monitoring the occupancy status of parking spaces.
Electronic Panels for User/Driver Information
Installed at strategic points, they provide significant, real-time updated information on trips, both under normal operating conditions and in cases of anomalies that cause delays and cancellations.
Parking Reservation Portal
The portal allows registered tourist bus operators to check availability and book and pay for parking. This enables operators to secure a spot upon arrival while allowing the manager to anticipate the incoming trip and manage the areas accordingly.
MyStation App
All system operations are also available on a mobile device for station managers, allowing for complete process management, program integration, anomaly management, on-the-spot parking payments, and the ability to initiate voice messages to the bus yard if necessary, all through a wireless connection.
